International Nurses Day 2020 - Tuesday 12 May




International Nurses Day is celebrated each year around the world on May 12th, Florence Nightingale's birthday. This is done to mark the contributions nurses make to society. Here you can read about Florence Nightingale's life.

We put up this link previously. The content is completely free for parents.

There is  new content each week. We use the Dabbledoo music programme in school.

Maths




Money is quite a difficult concept for children to grasp. This is a game for helping children to understand euros.
There are two games.The first game is where children use coins to make up varying amounts to buy the toys and the second is where they work out change.This money game is suitable for children from 4to 11 years of age as it has varying levels of difficulty. Click here to play.

Guitar Lesson




5th and 6th class pupils have their guitars at home. Hopefully they are practicing. Mr Kelly has very kindly offered to do a weekly lesson. He recommended ultimateguitar.com as the best site for nice songs to learn. There are various versions to suit the chords they know.
