Access to School Books

A few parents have contacted teachers in relation to collecting books from school. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible. However, the following links offer free access to all school books during this closure.

Nuacht as Gaeilge



This is  free weekly reading resource as Gaeilge. It is suitable for 5th and 6th class and is based on topics of interest and current topics to do with sport and TV. You can read it here

Dear parents, hope you are all well and adapting to the latest safety regulations. 



Classwork

Please find work for all classes for the coming week on this link. The SEN teachers have put together a grid with relaxation and mindfulness ideas. 

There is plenty to keep everyone busy, but no pressure! It does not have to be completed in full or at all and you, as parents, decide what best suits your situation.


NCSE - SEN

This site is particularly useful for children who are or have been attending Speech and Language or Occupational Therapy. Here you will also find good information on sensory processing, on developing fine and gross motor skills and some ideas on helping your child to self-regulate.

Here, please find a link to an email for each teacher. Our teachers will be happy to respond to any of your queries between 9:20 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. I have included my email should you wish to contact me. We are all here to help.


Home School Hub





RTÉ has confirmed that it will broadcast over an hour of "school on TV" to support primary school children and their parents at home. The one-hour programme will begin today, March 30th.

It will run from 11 a.m. -12 p.m., Monday to Friday on RTÉ 2, with a shorter "catch-up" segment later in the afternoon. It will be aimed particularly at children in 1st to 6th class.

The programme will also be available on the RTÉ Player and supporting worksheets and other material will be on RTE.ie/learn.

RTÉ said the programme would be educational, but also fun and engaging.

Bus Eireann has contacted the school about School Transport for the September 2020.

Applications for School Transport for the new school year are currently open and can be accessed on their website. 

Details of the scheme are also available here

The closing date for applications is Friday 24th April, 2020.
